We have the state of the art facility that can help you build world class products faster.
Woodworking is a concept that has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. We see that wood based products, especially as a replacement for plastic are becoming important. Thus, each of our CIFs have an exclusive woodworking shop. This workshop has hand tools, power tools and some machinery that will help you build a wooden prototype in no time. A few things that you get to use at our woodworking shop would be:
- Hand tools.
- Power tools.
- Routers.
- Bench Drilling Machine.
- Bosch Power Drill.
- And many more…!!!
Metal is a basic material that is used when we look at prototyping, especially when we look at agri or other EV bots. Thus, at each K-tech Innovation Hub, powered by IKP we have exclusive metalworking shops. Here startups and innovators can avail state of the art tools and equipment to develop their first ever prototype. Some of the tools and equipment that we have at our metalworking shop are:
- Cutters
- Shearing machine
- Welding – Arc & TIG
- Sheet bending machine
- Lathe machine
- Files
- And many more!
Digitization for hardware means maximum use of electronics along with the mechanical aspects of the devices. To be able to make sure startups have the right kind of electronics support we have a dedicated electronics lab at each of the CIFs. These labs help every individual to be able to do any tests that might be required to create a prototype. Some of the electronic equipment that we house are:
- Oscilloscope
- Function generators
- Power supplies
- Heat guns
- Soldering guns
- Multimeters
- Arduinos
- And more!
The core objective of the CIFs is to enable prototyping for startups. We try to make it as easy as it can be to help you build your prototype. We have the state of the art facilities available across our centers in Karnataka to facilitate the ever growing need for improvised prototyping. In house technicians and engineers are an added advantage to help the startups understand the design and model prototype as per their requirements. Some of the prototypes that we have helped develop so far include:
- 3D printed parts for various sectors
- Acrylic and wood laser cut parts
- Welded parts for robots
- And more
Hardware is hard. Thus to ensure that we are able to make the journey of entrepreneurs smooth, we conduct training sessions for entrepreneurs, their teams and students alike to learn about the various bits of starting up in the hardware industry. A few of the training sessions include:
- Laser cutting workshops
- 3D printing workshops
- Do Your Startup
- Do Your Product
- Electronics and IoT training
- And more
The lifeline for a hardware startup would be the product in itself. It is very essential to build a product that is best in terms of quality, economy and safety. At K-tech Innovation Hub, powered by IKP we make sure that every product you develop adheres to the basic requirements of the industry. This will help you build with confidence at a greater pace than when you are trying to build something alone by yourself.
